The X-ray Astronomy Group at the Instituto de Física de Cantabria (CSIC-UC) carries out research in (mostly) extragalactic X-ray Astronomy (active and normal galaxies, clusters, surveys and the X-ray background). We are also involved in a number of X-ray Astronomy space projects (primarily XMM-Newton and XEUS). The group pioneered X-ray Astronomy research in Spain.
