Weather: dry, clear and photometric

Observing conditions: seeing <1.0 arcsec, bright moon

Technical problems: Many

At the start of night telescope drivers were not responding.
We called support; 40 minutest lost.
All through the night CIRSI software was giving trouble. Frequent crashes
and system hang-ups.This resulted in much time being lost.

Dome flats and darks 
Three CIRSI standards observed:(P499-E,S808-C,P576-F)
	

Comments: Dome opened at 20:10UT.
	  Dome closed at 05:25UT. 
We used gain =2.98 e- since the background was very high and standard settings
do not allow exposures shorter that 22 seconds.

Observing conditions:photometric

Technical problems: From the start of observations, it was obvious that 
something was wrong. Count rates were extremely low, after much testing, we 
found that it was due to a layer of ice having formed in the light path in 
front of the filter wheel. The problem could not be solved until the morning. 
Night lost.

Observing conditions:phorometric,seeing ~1.0 arcsec

Technical problems: CIRSI behaved very well. Only a few crashes due to 
software problems.

Comments: Dome opened at 20:30UT.
	  Dome closed at 05:40UT. 
We changed to standard settings (gain 3.17 e-) because background was very 
low and Robert Sharpe suspected that crashes were due to chip readout 
problems.

Weather: dry, very windy (~50Km/h), some thin veiling

Observing conditions: Non photometric, seeing ~2.0 arcsec

Technical problems: No problems to report.

	  Dome closed at 05:40UT.
 
We started with the standard settings, but the background went up so much 
during the night that we had to revert to the settings of the first night 


No telescope logs were produced automatically (as in the WFC run) because
CIRSI has its own controlling software.
