WHT AUTOFIB2/WYFFOS run, 27 June 2000 Observers: X. Barcons, Instituto de Fisica de Cantabria C. Motch, Strasbourg M.J. Page, MSSL I. Perez-Fournon, IAC Weather: Very good Observing conditions: seeing probably around 1 arcsec. Good sky transparency. Technical problems: A few at the start of the night with very little (if any) observing time lost Data quality: Good as far as we can tell Instrument setup: R600B grating, with wavelength range 4200-7200 for the extragalactic field and ~500A lower for the galactic plane field. Configuring the fibres was a heavily time-consuming task, which should be done in advance as recommended. Very faint counterparts were avoided, unless we had a reason for it. Field Exposures ======== =========== Mrk205 3 x 1800 s G21.5-09, setup A 2 x 1800 s G21.5-09, setup B 2 x 1800 s A quick look analysis performed by Mat Page shows the data to be quite good. Most of the extragalactic and virtually all of the galactic candidates were detected. Emission lines can be seen in many extragalactic objects.
