INT WFC run, 30 April 2000 Observers: X. Barcons, S. Mateos Instituto de Fisica de Cantabria Weather: windy and humid at the start of the night (had to close for about 1 hour) Observing conditions: seeing around 1.5 arcsec. Variable sky transparency. Technical problems: Filter wheel stucked from time to time. A sort of "spot" affects at least 2 CCDs at all filters Data quality: Fair if we can get rid of that "spot". Data mostly taken along the lines of the Wide Field survey. Fields Filters ======== =========== Lockman u(600), g(600), r(600), i(1200), z(1200) Mrk205 u(600), g(600), r(600), i(1200), z(1200) RT Ser g(600), i(1200) G21.5-09 g(600), i(1200) Also the following Chandra fields, provided by Carolin Crawford. These are imaged to register the Chandra astrometry, for which faint counterparts to faint X-ray sources are needed. These fields can be done on the June 27 2000 spectroscopic night if nothing else is available. A1795 i(1200) A1835 i(1200) A2199 i(1200) Twilight flats in u and z (5 each). Landoldt standards observed twice. Comments: Due to weather, filter wheel problems and a suspected pointing problem with the telescope (which was fortunately not present in the data taken), some time was lost. That prevented us from doing the whole filter lot for the galactic fields (including Halpha). We did not scale up the exposure time as seeing**2 to reach expected limiting magnitude as the seeing was highly variable at the start of the night (might be 1 arcsec in some images).
